Loafing at work
So, I'm sort of off from orientation. I'm covering for people as they are out, taking over their duties in terms of helping doctors with their clinics and answering phone calls and queries from patients. New job
So, I recently started to work at a local hospital. Just stated on night shift, which I historically prefer to day shift, but this time I find myself torn. I really liked working days. TV woes
So I have one episode of Carnivale left to watch. The last episode of the second season. Of a projected six seasons. Damn you HBO! Carnivale, Firefly, I sure can pick some losers. If they cancel Battlestar Galactica abruptly, I'm giving up on TV altogether. Or at least, giving up on pirated episodes of premium stations I don't pay for. -
Slacking wins again!
Don't let the Man tell you you have to run out and do things in a "timely" fashion. With a "back up plan." I graduate in three weeks, and still need three credits of sociology to earn my degree. It is 12:30 AM, early Monday morning. I live in a small town in upstate NY. Frankly, that last possible thing I expect to hear out on the street is a car horn playing the first bar of "Dixie."
