Well, it's been a while...
So I didn't update all semester. :-)
This semester was by far my hardest I've ever had and probably ever will have. It's the most intense of the Music Ed semesters and adding Structure of Drama and Non-Western on top of it as well as Earnest and The Pajama Game made it truly rough. The Cripple of Inishmaan
I ventured up to Ellenville last night with my aunt to see Shadowland Theatre's production of Martin McDonagh's "The Cripple of Inishmaan". I've always loved McDonagh's work, though I've never seen it performed. This was a fantastic production at a gem of a theatre pretty close to home. In a Maine coastal village near the end of the 19th century...
So yesterday was one of the luckiest days I've had...everything seemed to work out just perfectly.

So it's happening. My dad got coverage for tonight and he and I are definitely going to see Aaron in Carousel. We bought out tickets a few minutes ago. I hope, for her sake, that my mom is able to come. She could use to get away from everything for a night.
I'm so ridiculously excited to see him as Billy Bigelow.

The night was going great, until Harris's boyfriend got pretty irked by the lack of attention we paid to his performance during his Kellie Pickler- quality ballad.

Not a Day Goes By
So today was nice: no work, no class, finally a day to jus do nothing. Well, not nothing. I had math work to do but that didn't happen. Instead I spent the day doing little but making icons...but I really, really like the way they turned out. :-P ( Read more... )
