Why am I so susceptible to advertising and packaging?  I bought a 12 pack of Poland Spring Water just because the bottles were round in shape and called aquapods.

I think I am actually getting sick.  I know the cause though.  For one let me state that I have been off the Kombucha tea for 5 days because I ran out of bottled tea and I am waiting for the new batch to ferment.  I also went running last night and the night before in below freezing temperatures.  Can't be good for the immune system.  I think it is ( Read more... )

I ain't gonna lie to you, I have been cranky today.  I am not sure what it is but man I just felt cranky.  I was trying to pinpoint the exact issue, but could not.  I was just getting annoyed at everything.  I am wondering if it is my eating.  I have been on such a healthy kick that I have not been enjoying the normal pleasures on the weekend.  ( Read more... )

Man the days are long!  Not daylight wise, but energy wise.  I find that right around 5pm when I am done tutoring I am ready for a good old nap.  However I usually go home and cook dinner, wolf it down and then head out to the library.  Which is where I am now.  Usually I am aching for the time to fly here, however ( Read more... )

I have about 6 dead green tree pythons in my snake/rodent freezer.  They have been "chilling" in there for months while I decided when I should do a necropsy on them.  Well yesterdat I had some free time (how rare) and I decided to dissect 4 of them.  I will tell you one thing, the living world, especially the snake world, never ceases to amaze me ( Read more... )
