ever have a day where everything is a shade between yellow and blue...a green day? makes you want to insist on being a pesimist, makes me want to upchuck armatage shanks all over the macy day's parade. for getting down and mellow, walking arround the neighborhood on an especially hot day, maybe grabbing a cold beverage G love is the man to listen to. i've never seen a man as insane as james brown, who else would make a cd entitled funky christmas, much less make a cd on the basis of this title. the only person that i could think of that would be crazier would be a person who had this cd on their ipod. i cut my nails with sly and the family stone, with beats so sharp, and cuts so tight theirs nothing better in my mind, slowed down with a funky bass ever present in the background, i should cut my nails more often with tools such as these. for mental health i take two doses of jimi hendrix, it always seems to cure my manic depression. if the beatles are god, jimi is my savior, he didn't die for our sins, he died because nobody would ( ... )

what can't the beatles do? i guess that's what makes them omnipotent. i want a slice of cake, bitter sweet with a touch of sorrowful trumpet, possibly a monotone lead singer, brought together to sing a sad song that is best enjoyed when in a melancholy mood or even depressed about the girl that got away, prospects never followed, doors never opened. progidy is yet another techno, i'm always astonished at the quantity of techno that spews from my library. their industrial sounds spliced with powerful bass makes for something to listen to when popping and locking down the street, yet it was their title song that lead me to purchase it at the age of eleven, smack my bitch up. the first cd i ever purchased was black sabbath, and to this day i don't know why other than the fact that iron man sounded great coming out of my mom's little boombox, turned all the way up, shaking the walls of our little duplex. the royal tenenbaums soundtrack would bring tears to my eyes where i not so manly. it reaches into the average man's life like ben folds ( ... )
