Stupidity must be part of the human condition. I know I'm very badly informed about current events so I'm not sure how much of a surprise this is going to be for the rest of you. I think zephyrhills is the only one that bottles authentic florida spring water. My dad works for them. Zephyrhills is only a florida and georgia water. no other state has it. as far as it being a public thing, the spring they get it from (from the town of zephyrhills, florida) is privately owned. it is a mans private property that decided to profit on the spring he had in his backyard. he used to let kids swim in the spring and that same water would be purified and bottled by zephryhills, but the owner has put an end to letting people swim in the water.

is there another florida spring water company? i will ask my dad to make sure. but everything else i am sure about. they get their water from a privately owned spring.

The Nestle corporation is getting their water for free. Look up the current news about Governor Crist and his plans for making legislation to tax them. Which I totally agree with. I hate the idea of a private business getting to take resources, which belong to me and every other american citizen, and then selling it back to me. It's like if I walked into your house during dinner time, picked your plate off the table, and then charged you 20 dollars to hand it back to you.
