Peace to you, Natasha.

I was pointed to John's web site just today by someone who appreciated his photography and online friendship. I'm sorry I never had the honor of knowing him but am glad that his essence might live on through his art in his journal. Thank you for helping to share some of who he was with us.

Have you written to Brad Fitzpatrick yet regarding saving his images and words here? You could probably reach him best via http://www.livejournal.com/support/

Sincerely,
Seren

Oh, you're right, thanks. I just assumed she'd be checking this page. I'll email her, even though hopefully by now she has been in touch with Brad.

Thanks Tash, for your very kind words, He was a wonderful person and a great friend to many, as was shown at his funeral on Monday. I used to meet John for Coffee at least twice a week in yeovil. Swapping stories and asking his advice on my problems for the day. I visited him in Hospital most days and never heard one moan or whinge regarding his condition. He was a very proud man and didn't want people swarming around him feeling sorry for him, he just wanted to do it his own way. I and many will miss him greatly.
