That sounds yummy, Johsh! I'll have to give it a try sometime. I think I have everything on hand but the amchur and the chickpeas.
You can rinse the canned chickpeas, too, to help get rid of the excess salt, if that concerns you. Also, perhaps you can find dried chickpeas? Maybe at the place that sells Indian foodstuffs? You'd have to take the time to soak and cook them first, but they'd probably be even cheaper. Unless they're an exotic rarity. Or don't exist. I don't really know about this, but depending on your time:money ratio, it might be worth looking into.
