Yesterday was a sad day for my family. My aunt Phyllis passed away in the late evening. She had been in and out of the hospital for the past couple of weeks, and yesterday morning she had a massive stroke. Her body had just had enough. I am glad that she is at peace. I hope she knows she was cherished and will be missed by many.

I am making my New Year's Resolutions early this year. I decided that waiting for the New Year is just another way of putting off what I need to do NOW. I just wanted to update everyone. Jack came home Monday and is doing much better. He will only eat his food if we microwave it, and he had a fever for a couple of hours today, but otherwise he is on the mend. I am on pins and needles tonight. Jack, my little australian shepherd mix, is in the doggie ICU at the MSU vet school. He has a very upset tummy after getting into some "people food".
