There's a front page article in the weekend paper about the terrible struggles that remote aboriginal communities have with alcohol and other drugs, domestic violence and sexual abuse. A friend has offered me a ticket to the opening game of the AFL season - Eagles v St Kilda which kicks off in exactly 17 days (almost to the minute).
