Sofabed
Bought a sofabed today. Makes me feel like a grownup. My houseguests will no longer have to sleep on an air mattress on the floor. It's queensize, but compact enough to fit into my guest room. The sun is out, it's nearly more than 45 degrees F (It's nearly 50!). That's always my birthday wish. So I'm happy.

Apple care
My macBook powercord went kerflooey. I took it and my computer (just in case the computer was the problem) to the apple Genius Bar today. I'm no longer under warranty, so I expected to buy a new cord. This would have pissed me off a little; the current cord is only about five months old.
