Well, kiddos...it's been awhile. I've been working quite a bit. In fact, I've been working ridiculous amounts as of late. It started out slowly; I was just barely meeting my 40 hours per week, and then up to 45, and then 49, and now my last 2 weeks have been 69 and 74. Egads, man, that's alot of work. So it's been a looong week, and I have before me a well-deserved weekend. Work has been tiresome, but I've managed to get through it with remarkable resilience everyday. Everyone's been gone from the house all week so I've been able to sleep realyl well and catnap all day as I so please, and eat what I want. A definite bonus considering this week. ( Read more... )

Ok, so I went to the Warped Tour this last week in Salt Lake City (so as not to break the Sabbath by going in Denver). I had a great time, got to meet Ken Vasoli from Starting Line and the whole band signed some stuff for me. Some alot of great bands, including the legend himself, Billy Idol. So I lost my keys yesterday. I was not a big fan of that. I had to go to the dealership to get a new one because I only had one (it was the ignition key, not the door key) and you can only get them at the dealership because they have a special sensor in it so that it knows it is my car. All I've done all day is sleep. It's 4:17 now. What a waste.

Today I went to City Park with my cousins and played around. It was overcast most of the day, so my sunburn wasn't irritated, so that's a good thing. It started to blister *eeks!* I put alot of Aloe Vera and Solarcaine on it, and I am hoping for a fast recovery so I can start wearing socks again; I fear getting a foot fungus without that secure ( Read more... )

Went to water world today with Kasey and Ben and Steve and Cori and Kelly. It was a good time. I rode some fun rides, saw some cute girls, and basked in the hot sun. I did get a wicked sunburn, but nothing NEAR what I got at Warped Tour last year, so I guess I will keep things in perspective.
