i have not donated it yet...
the motivation was... i do not really know
me and erin decided our hair was getting pretty long
and we had been talking about cutting it short for awhile
plus it is going to be a hot summer

by the way...
i hope you have a great trip
and please tell dani that i wish her a great trip as well
i wish i could have seen you both before you left...

i like how your shirts match and got darker as your hair got shorter.

it's so lovely that you (both?) are going to donate that much hair, i'm sure it'll make someone very happy.

yes we both love our american apparel

and
we actually have not decided yet on weather we are going donate our hair
we need to do some more research into weather or not that is the best thing to do
i have read that there are some criticisms over what is actually done with donated hair
perhaps we will sell it ourselves and then donate a portion to a worthy cause

and no i do not think the iphone is excessive
just like i do not think an ipod is excessive
ipods have completely changed the way that people listen to music
just like how the iphone is going to completely change the way people use their cellular telephones
it will be a truly revolutionary product and i can not wait to get mine
