Twilight Zone:  The Movie was not a very good film.  Most of it is uninspired, dreadful remakes of stories done far better on the original show.  Or decent, but unnecessary remakes.

And then there's the fact that the dishonesty and frivolity of one of the directors directly lead to the death of an actor and two innocent children.

Strange...the rest of the film All That Jazz is very cynical, dark, and bitter.  Yet we have this sweet, sentimental, lovely sequence right in the middle of it.

They have a great cast.  The potential deal killer is the script.

But seriously, rarely have I seen such an obviously sincere, irony-free performance clash so much with the extremely poor quality music, repetitious lyrics, and bizarre facial expressions.

I've not encountered Sara Varon's work before, but now I want to.  This graphic novel uses soft, flowing artwork and almost no words to tell the story of a Dog who builds a Robot in hopes of creating a new best friend.
