WTF, mate? Justice Department on Gay Marriage

So this gay couple is suing the Federal Government to chuck out the Defense Of Marriage Act as unconstitutional, because it keeps them from getting federal married-person benefits, even though they were legally married in their home state. Turns out the guy who wrote the brief was a career guy, and not a Bush appointee. Of course, that justifies nothing. Obama has been quite the disappointment for me. I was hoping he would care more for the American people and the rule of law more than Bush but...well, he's tripping over a very low bar.

Yeah, once again a president with whom I share about half my agenda works hard only on the issues on which I oppose him, leaving the issues on which I support him to languish.
