My brother in law, Bob, died yesterday.  He fought his lung cancer to the end.  I still find it hard to believe, even though I knew that is how it would end up.  I don't know how Lou is.  I have heard that she is doing okay.  Somehow I think it may be a relief and then I hate that I think that way...how can it be a relief that someone is dead?  But ( Read more... )

My nephew, Jared, left for Iraq this morning.  You know, even if he doesn't get killed over there, he's gonna see some shit that he doesn't have any business seeing.  Jared is so young.  And he will never be the same, not after this.  God bless him and keep him safe.
