Actually, as the Democrats understand -- and as most people do not -- that they can get electoral benefit from illegal aliens even if *none* of them ever commit vote fraud and even if *none* of them are ever naturalized.

This is because the Constitution -- in one of the *few* of its provisions they don't openly (*) seek to destroy -- apportions representation, and thus political power, by enumeration (*) of population rather than by enumeration of citizens.

(*) This is why the Democrats are forever trying to change the reported result of the Census to be based on imputed population rather than enumerated population.

For the record I am also leaning to Trump. I like that he is going to put a stop or at least a damper on Muslim immigration till we can "vet" it, which means -- probably not for a LONG TIME. This is very important. It is important enough to ignore or try to ignore Trump's obvious problems as a leader. There are many but putting a freeze on letting more Muslims in particularly from places like Syria -- is enough to make me overlook them
