I'm posting at LiveJournal as I'm boycotting Facebook for a day. Facebook changed it's UI for the worse a week or so ago. Someone organized an online boycott. Me and probably 10 or so (!!) other Facebookers are boycotting today.

A friend of mine is facing $60,000 in dental bills. In this day of universal health care, I'd like to show that charity doesn't require the government pointing a gun at our heads.

I've noticed that almost everyone I know (and many I haven't heard from in decades) are on Facebook. Also, many people who used to post here don't anymore or do so infrequently.
