goodbye livejournal. you served me for a while. now there's just too much hate, too much emotion, too little logic. now my thoughts belong only to me and those who i care about.

how is it that every monday, wednesday, and friday we fill our chapel to capacity for a 21 minute sermonette and then when a brilliant former US Senator and Ambassador comes to deliver an eloquent, rational, and edifying address about one of our country's greatest, most profound speakers we manage only a quarter of that?

this week has been so hard for me. everything has come to a head.
and it's times like these that i really wish i had someone to lean on and lay with and talk to or not talk to; a female, in particular.

i just had an eargasm listening to radiohead's exit music(for a film). it was amazing.

when ryan wert and i were at meijer last night, we were walking through the cd section and i said to him, "does it ever make you physically sick to see all of this completely awful music?" and it was awful. objectively awful and i don't see how anyone of significant intelligence would think otherwise. and he said, "well, i've gotten used to it."
