I was digging through my computer desk (which I need to clean out...badly) when I found some old folders and a notebook.  It was old papers and notes from my freshman year at UTA.  It's always interesting to go back and look through that kind of stuff and see how dumb it makes me feel now.  Not that I am dumber, but not taking core classes for five ( Read more... )

I was driving to work today and I got stuck in traffic. As I sit there griping about the bad traffic and my stupidity for going a way that put me in the heat of traffic, I thought about work and how much I hate my job. And I mean hate. Yesterday was a pretty good day. I spent the majority of it watching season three of Buffy, which was great, but sad because now I've finished it and don't have anymore to watch. Today has been good. My step-dad's operation went fine and I would almost say we had a good time there while we waited. He seems to be recovering well, though he's pretty much just sleeping. Today has been a decent day. I have my highs and my lows, I'm currently hovering just above low (I'm in the middle of Brokeback Mountain, so it's got me fairly depressed). Well, it's been one week. Today at work was more bearable than it has been in the last week.
