I actually heard a woman arguing with a shop keeper about this at lunch time... stupidity really knows no bounds...

It gets worse. About 20% of all adults in the UK are "functionally illiterate" - meaning that although they may have some ability to read/write, it is too low to be of practical use in day-to-day life.

I really despair sometimes of people.

Pn a lighter note, when you next gracing our fair city with your presence? It's been far too long since we got pissed together ;->

Far far too long! I'm desperately hoping to get the funds together for a trip around my birthday (December), but I need to see how money goes first. I will come back and visit one day, I promise!!
