it was you and me but lately it has been
rather lonesome.
I thought that the only time I'd see a blank colorless wall would be at night. I can't see anymore.
I face the wall and all I see is you behind that transparent silence. I'm trying to remember when was the last time you screamed at me and the last time you kicked me with all your might. It was that time I lost my future, and I felt like a leaf falling in an auburn october.
That day you wore satin blue and your eyes felt darker than usual. Your words were short but your steps were far too long for me to catch up to you.
"You're too fast."
I tried to warn you. Speed doesn't make the silence fade any faster; nor your breaths any steady.
That night your hair was pulled back into a bun but your body felt loose. I tried to keep my thoughts from reflecting upon your observations but mostly your smiles. I felt emotionless.
You turned around and held your index finger in your lips motioning me to hush. I've never seen you quiet and disturbed but mostly I've never seen your back to me.
I had to confess my doings.
"When did you start?" You understood.
" A couple of weeks ago."
I remember your left hand tracing the graffiti on the wall that glowy fathomless night. I was two feet away from you.
Your face grew empty.
"What will I do without you Pi? It seems as if you punched me for the first time in my stomach. Silly, that I can't even imagine you with another woman. Punching me wouldve been better. For me to say in the least."
My finger tips trembled but my eyes grew blind and for a second you were blurry to my eyesight. I couldve never imagine you holding your face in your palms and crying. This time I couldn't console you.
"I'm...."
"Don't even try. What's done is done. Let's keep it this way."
' Flash Back ' I read from the wasted rusty wall.
You walked in front of me lightly upon the pavement.
And with a blink you were gone into my memories of once upon a time.
The sun is still not shining.
