Tatsuya sleepily opened his eyes. He didn't really want to though. In his mind he somehow remembered having a nice dream...or was it some kind of nice memory? In his hazy state of mind he couldn't really figure it out at all. He yawned heavily and he was glad, that this Sunday was his free day. He felt somewhat exhausted even though he had had a great sleep. Tatsuya lazily turned around and buried his nose in one of the pillows next to him. He inhaled deeply and suddenly he yanked himself back. What's with that scent? Can't be...it smelled like him....Then he suddenly spotted a few raven black hairs on the pillow and suddenly he remembered. He remembered everything. Pictures of the night before were flooding his mind. Pictures that had been so well hidden in the back of his mind to make him think that it only had been a nice dream he had. Tatsuya literally jumped up from the bed, or at least tried to, but his sore back made him fall back into the blankets.
“Ouch! What the fuck...” he cursed loudly and closed his eyes. Now he knew why he felt exhausted. And why he was sleeping butt naked by the way. He lets these imagines he had just remembered run through his mind and a few moments later he noticed tears welling up in his eyes. He rubbed his eyes furiously to stop the tears. Why was he crying again? He had known it would end like that! There hadn't been any other real possibility. But Ryo had been so nice to him during the evening. The tears started falling again and now there was no way Tatsuya could stop them no matter how hard he tried. He started sobbing as the happy feelings from the evening and also the night before were so real in his mind. Oh how stupid Tatsuya felt. Of course it had to end like this. How could he think that Ryo would suddenly stay with him? He scolded himself a naive stupid thing and hid himself under the blankets, crying his heart out.
He didn't know for how long he had been crying, but at some point the tears just stopped as if there wasn't any water left in Tatsuya's whole body. He sighed deeply and got up. In the bedroom mirror he could see his eyes being all red and puffy as if he had cried for hours. Well, maybe I WAS actually crying for hours. he thought and went under the shower to refresh himself.
After that he felt like calling somebody and talking about it. Tatsuya picked up his phone and was already dealing Junno's number when he suddenly froze. He couldn't call his friends. They all had predicted everything to happen like it actually did, he couldn't call them and whine about it. They had warned him and he hadn't listened. There was no way! Tatsuya put the phone on the table and went directly back to his bed, pulling the covers over his body and drowning himself in the scent of Ryo that was left in the pillows.

The next day when Tatsuya entered the KAT-TUN dressing room he suddenly felt all eyes looking at him. All of his band members were already there and they turned to look at him as soon as he came inside.
“Tatsuya!” Junno screamed and he came to hug him.
“What's going on here???” Tatsuya asked, even though he had an idea on what this was about.
“Are you okay?” Koki asked him.
“You didn't pick up your phone yesterday!” Kame added. “We were worried about you!”
Tatsuya remembered that he had ignored his ringing phone for a few times the day before.
“I'm sorry. I had put it into the silent mode.” Tatsuya wanted to tell them about why he hadn't picked up the phone. It was killing him that he couldn't, but he plastered a bright smile on his face to show his friends that there was no need to worry about him at all.
“Okay then, let's go. Practice will start soon!” Kame commanded and they were all following his advices, just like always.
When they reached the practice room, NEWS had just finished their practice and were ready to leave. Tatsuya felt his heart clench painfully in his chest when he saw Ryo. Why has he to be here of all people?? he thought and let his head hang down to not look at Ryo anymore. He felt the worried looks of his band mates on him. But he couldn't help to peek up to look at Ryo when he passed by him. He looked him in the eyes and for a second Ryo looked back and threw a bright smile at Tatsuya. It had only lasted for a mere second, but Tatsuya had seen it and immediately the picture of Ryo smiling at him graved itself deep into his mind. Tatsuya's heart began to bump fast and his knees went all wobbly. Ryo had just smiled at him??? What the hell was that? There was no way that he could concentrate on dancing now...

After what felt like endless scolding from both, Kame and the dance instructor Tatsuya went to have lunch with Junno. In his mind he was constantly excusing to himself for not being able to concentrate during the rehearsals. It wasn't his fault. It was Ryo who had stolen all of his concentration.
“Ne Uepi, you weren't in a good practicing mood today, right?” Junno asked him worriedly.
“Hm?” Tatsuya snapped out of his thoughts. “Yeah, right. I was a bit out of focus today!” he said and smiled brightly.
“Why is that Uepi...” Junno stopped because he had spotted Ryo coming down the hallway and was obviously expecting him to do something that would hurt Tatsuya. But the opposite thing happened. Ryo smiled at the both of them.
“Good morning Tatsuya. Going for lunch?”
“Uhm....y-yeah?” Tatsuya stuttered, shocked that Ryo was suddenly talking to him like a normal being.
“Aww...you're lucky! I still have a meeting with my manager! See you!” Ryo said and left two men standing there dumbfounded.
“Tatsuya? What the hell was that??” Junno asked confused. “Since when are you guys talking to each other??”
“I-I don't know....!” Tatsuya mumbled, but from his bright smile Junno knew that there was nothing that could make Tatsuya as happy as Ryo being friendly to him. And his happy smile was a pretty strong contrast to the sad expression that was covering Junno's face.
