On the ranch, we have so many animals that, by the law of statistics only, we often have to deal with sick animals. We're all fairly used to a bit of animal death, so usually we sound pretty calloused when talking about it. We can almost always tell with a cow or a sheep, for example, if the animal is near death. Today I sang the soprano part for Tu Lo Sai in voice class. I was very proud of myself because I hit all the notes (one kept sounding a bit weak though), but I wasn't too sure about how I had sounded, so I asked my teacher.
