The main thing to remember about riding horses is to keep one leg on either side. If you can do that, you're set. An old cowboy told me that. If you're western, you're all set with that, but if you're English, remember to keep your heels down or you could slip your foot through the stirrup if you fall and be dragged. The best way to keep your heels down is to think "knees down" and it'll push your toes up. The rest is pretty much just sticking your belly out and your shoulders down ( ... )
