I must confess, though, that I do have a fondness for non-hipster moustaches. I think a fine moustache can really look rather good.

Many thanks! I like your attitude. I agree about some moustaches being good. I like pencil moustaches as worn by Tom Conway in the old movies and later Midge Ure from Ultravox. But for some reason no-one seems to have thought to revive those. And of course I love walrus moustaches on fat old men, "Piccadilly weepers" I think they're called.
