I grew up in a village a few miles otuside of Leicester. I never liked the city, it was just a bit too ugly and busy for my liking. I gather it has changed somewhat since I was last there about 5 years ago. mind you, even then you could see it changing.

hmm, yep i think perhaps we've had this conversation at some stage in the dim and distant past... great glen wasn't it? my dad was the minister there for a while, so i know the area fairly well.

its not *all* that ugly :p

I went to school in great glen but the village i grew up in is called Arnesby

Aah yep, I think.. hmm... perhaps its coming back to me. I used to have friends in Fleckney; Husbands Bosworth - in that direction if I recall correctly?

That information perhaps does rather make the question 'why are you returning' more pertinent, but lets shift our focus, shall we? Ho hum.
