My dad called to let me know that my grandfather probably won't make it through the week.  He has been dying for some time now so this isn't a huge shock, but still hard.  It's weird but the hardest part of this is that I won't be their to help.  I hate being so far away from my family.  I miss my family so much ( Read more... )

Today was the boys first day of school. I believe that Addison must have had an idea that something was up because last night he refused to sleep...he finally feel asleep sometime after midnight. Dear In-laws,

Nickolas (my 3 year old son) was running in the living room and tripped and fell against the entertainment center and split his chin open as well as bit his tongue.
Greg took Nickolas to the urgent care down the street and Nickolas got 3 stitches!! :-(
But came home happy, he told me he was "all better"

- New home in a better neighborhood closer to my family
