Last weekend was dinner #2 of the eight nice meals I pledged to my parentals as a Giftmas present.  For this one I wanted to build in some sweet zip of springtime, even though I admit not every ingredient was strictly seasonal.

I must confess that I got a little squeamish over "toasted innards of said loaf dipped into that creamy goodness," but that might just be a personal hangup.

I have no other words besides Da-aamn, and you must have cloned yourself because HOW do you have time do cook like this??

What's funny is just this week I attempted a cornish game hen in a orange and honey sauce, with a blood orange for flair.. the overall taste was good, the meat fell off the bone, but the sauce needed a little work...
