That was a beautiful celebration. I thought Laurie's jealousy was sweet as well as his accepting that Ralph may have had other lovers while he was away. Ralph's reassurance that everything he want was at home made me (and Laurie I'm sure), very happy.

I had to play Myra Hess playing the Appassionata while reading this and I must say how well a piece of music you picked! Great as always! I loved how you started the short with Ralph sleeping and Laurie looking after him. It's exactly how I envisioned it in my own head. Bravo!

Thanks! I gave the music a lot of thought. I always think that each one is the one who thinks he looks after the other. Ralph would still never admit he needs looking after. :)

"I always think that each one is the one who thinks he looks after the other." Very true. I think understanding that makes them so much more realistic and layered and also so much fun to read.

I love the complexity of their relationship. That's part of the appeal for me, so I'm really glad you enjoy the way I imagine them. :)

Yes. This is just how I see Laurie and Ralph celebrating the end of the war. :-)
