BTW - this is my second round of trying to tell this story - just FYI for anyone who hasn't realized this yet, clicking on the "update journal" tag LJ has on their new "helpful" tool bar doesn't start the kind of entry that creates an "auto-saved draft". Here here about the whacking the Wraith part! It makes me feel like a meanie, but I would have shot them all, straight off. :/

Horribly, I probably wouldn't have just shot them, I would have kept 8 or 10 of the most important ones to interrogate first.

And I sure as heck wouldn't have left poor Beckett all alone on the planet with them with just a couple of RedShirts to throw to the wolves!

I am glad you like that bit - partly because just awww, Ronon with a baby - but also because I think its one of the very basic things about his culture - that taking care of babies is the most important work there is.

I'm so glad you are enjoying it! It makes me so happy to hear that, especially because the story I am telling here really only has ONE cannon character in it (or, two, I guess, because Ronon spends so much time thinking about Kell). I am glad my made up version of Ronon's past is still interesting, even without the rest of the regular characters to help it along!

Straight from my life! I wanted to be a Dentist for a while when I was little - actually for like 2 years - after that it was Dolphin Trainer (phrased snottily as "marine biologist") for a long time. Hmmm...lots of opportunity for Marine Biology on Atlantis...

Hi hon, I fear I might have confused you with my e-mail about my e-mail, as I didn't hear anything about the project from you, but I'm glad you pulled it off, as I knew you would. In future, you can send things to my yahoo address (even though I can't respond) or the work e-mail. I'll let you know if there's any change to those things.

Also, I'm off to LA next week and I'm trying to track down the elusive spunkee! I'll let you know if that happens. :)

Have a fantastic time in LA! Track Spunkee down indeed! - and actually, nail her down when you find her. I think I am going to be out there for a couple of months next spring, and I would love to see her.
