Huddersfield confirmed to me this morning that there is no accomodation at all. So looks like I'm gonna have to stay at home. So pissed off I smacked my head against a wall, which then made me feel dizzy and puke up, which was enjoyable

You'll find within weeks of getting there that there will be loads of people asking for roomies in the SU.

Hassle the university to find you private accomodation. Find if the SU advertise for roomies already. Be pro-active about it, don't just sit there and think you can't live in Hudders.

yep im pretty sure that the uni is supposed to help you find accomodatioin in the first year, so ask about privately owned houses etc.
