Hey so finally I made it home last night. Kinda a ridiculously long trip...8 hour plane ride from London, but that was not even half. I went about 35 hours or more on about 4 hours of sleep, all 4 hours sitting up. !Hola¡ Last day en España and it was a good one. Last night was very interesting and fun. The four of us first tried to get up to Parc Guell for a view of the city but we passed a cigar shop while getting lost. Hi sorry it´s been a while...been busy. So after the long night on New Years we spent the day in Madrid, then hopped on our night train over to Barcelona to meet Nick and Justin the next morning. Feliz Año 2007! Last night was quite crazy in Madrid...probably a few hundred thousand people in La Puerta del Sol...we met a couple of American guys visiting here, got busted by an undercover cop for having alcohol inside their cups-only zone, and sprayed vino y sidra everywhere. Hola! Yesterday and today we enjoyed Madrid, or as much of it as possible. We went to visit estadio Bernabeu, where Real Madrid plays (Beckham, Ronaldo, Zidane on the same team - needless to say it was like idol worship in their gift shop). So today we ended up in Madrid. We slept about 2 hours our last night in San Sebastian, being out at bars and a disco until 5, which was actually quite a bit of fun. school started. here's my school-starting post. things are fun, I guess. the more time I spend in school though, the more everybody thinks they already know everything. blah. summer was okay...lonely but an adventure. I miss my friends.
