It’s not often I see so much back-to-back evidence that suggests I am such a fortunate outlier given the circumstances of my childhood. The question of what is the purview of the public education system to teach is a bit touchy when it comes to values. I suppose when one looks at it pragmatically, the schools should teach up-and-coming citizens how to deal with each-other while the parents should teach the student how to deal with themselves.
