I woke up early this morning to a bright and brilliant sunrise, full of rich pinks, oranges, and purples and the feelings of waking up to a fresh day. Then I went back to sleep and now it seems it was all a dream, the colors having been too deep to be real.

They were real. I saw them when I was waking up too... way too early. Poo on work.

oh, how many times have I experienced that!
It's a bit disheartening, tho'.
but, oh, nothing beats waking up to bright light surrounding and engulfing everything around you -- including yourself.

I don't think it's ever happened to me, but this was quite delightful in the I-went-back-to-sleep-anyway kind of way.
