Got a tickle in my throat on Thanksgiving, and it's just gotten worse. Sore throat, cough, sluggish, etc. Some will be thrilled to know that I can barely talk at the moment ( Read more... )

Honestly, I'd felt weird and sluggish since the weekend before Thanksgiving. I thought it was an upsurge in allergy problems.

I slept a lot yesterday, drank lots of water and tea (no juice in the house, so I took vit. C and garlic tabs) and I tried to fight some monsters - with limited success. My temp is back to a normal 96.3, but not before it topped out last night at 100.0. I tried to let the fever take its course since they do have a purpose, but ended up taking ibuprofen for my throat. And I'm coughing a lot. Which sucks.

But I will still follow all the wise advice, mom. :)

Oh, and yeah, I'm sorry if I sounded out of it. I have been living on Zyrtec lately, and between that and the blahs, I'm afraid neither you guys or my family got the best of me. I wish I'd been more with it, because I really miss you guys a lot (even if you do pick on me mercilessly...or maybe because of it?).

Since dargie responded first, I wrote a lot up there. I feel weak and gross, but at least I'm down to 96.3 again. Now if only the coughing would stop. Once I feel a little less woozy, I'm taking a shower, 'cos ewww!

The Portillo's was wonderful, even if it did feel like it was laced with glass. I had only had a protein bar and a pack of peanut butter/cheese crackers all day and I was still not really hungry. But what does that matter, when it's an beef?

That pic of Robin probably has serious curative properties...maybe I'll rub it and see. :)
