How is your husband doing? Jim had the cataract in his left eye removed and a lens implanted in January, and now he actually has about 30/40 vision - in that eye. The one with the graft is still slightly infected (herpes - very common in eyes, I'm told). If it ever settles down, he might try a contact lens to counteract the astigmatism in the graft, but he's such a clutz, I doubt it will work. Oh well, at least the crises of the last year or two are over. Oops. Maybe I shouldn't say that!
