Simpler Times

Life seemed so simple in the fifth grade. Everything was black and white. There was a clear, concise pecking order in our class, based on who could take who in a fight. I was at the top of the list because by the fith grade I had already been in several fights, mostly against boys and several against kids in the grade above me. I've never been one to be pushed around. By the time I got to High School, I had the "don't mess with her, she'll kick your ass." tag. It was cool.
