I actually enjoyed S8, or at least the latter half - plenty of Sammy!whump and the kind of bro moments that have been sorely lacking for a long time. Some twists made me roll my eyes, but whatevs, it means new canon for more fic.

Btw, finally watched S8 after being 'meh' about spn for like a year and, wow, was that a mistake. I am now searching desperately for the fic that S8 has made me want so badly.

I had a friend re-convert to LJ recently (after a flirtations with FB and Twitter). The realization that those other sites aren't really about communication, so much as broadcasting, is the reason that I have stuck with LJ despite the incessant knocking of the other social media darlings.

Oh LJ, you just get me.

Now I just have to start actually POSTING more often. *eye roll*
