Signs that your pregnant cat may be nearing her labour:  loss of appetite 24 - 36 hours prior to onset of labour.

Having just had my pregnant cat try to CLIMB my person -- in a most uncomfortable & decidedly pointy manner, I might add -- to reach her food, I'd have to say we're not at that point yet. 

The bellydance junkie in me is about to EXPLODE!! 
Only a few more days & I'll be off to shake myself sore ... can't wait?

When-o-when will one of you guys become as addicted as I & join me in my (now) yearly pilgrimage to the feet (um ... hip?) of the masters? 

I've never had a pregnant kitty around before.  Well, OK ... once when I was a kid, but I was young enough not to remember the pregnancy & only recall they kittens because they ate the frame on my glasses.  So, its interesting to watch Nayjah go through the various stages of pregnancy.  Lately, she's been sleeping stretched out instead of curled up ( Read more... )

We haven't been able to get Nayjah fixed, due to other, more pressing, financial obligations.  We knew we would be dealing with her meow-iness, but were prepared for that, as long as we were able to lock her into the TV room in the basement during the night so we could get some sleep -- with her own litter box, food & water, of course!  All went ( Read more... )
