My doctor called me yesterday with my blood results: I'm still positive for celiac disease. Now, once you are compliant with the gluten free diet, you should show negative on any celiac blood panel. Hi, sweetie. I'm so sorry! How frustrating!! I hope Steve comes around. Maybe it's just taking him some time to adjust to the idea, and after he has a day or two to think it over he'll be more receptive. I know I can't really say anything else to fix your body or make it heal any faster, so I'll just say that you have my support -- and ((((hugs))))!

Yesterday, we had a good chat, and he's agreed to get the gluten out of the house. When he saw me crying and how upset this is really making me, I think he finally *got* it. I'll keep you posted on how it all goes...we're going to my parents' house this weekend, so it'll be good to just get away, and hopefully I'll be feeling a bit better, too.

Thanks for the hug! I needed it :)

I'm sorry. Things will work out. Steve will hopefully start to consider going gluten-free once he sees how tough it is on you. I'm just so sorry you're still sick. I know it must be incredibly frustrating. Hang in there...

Steve has now agreed to go gluten free, so that's hopefully going to make things much better. If that doesn't work, I won't know what to do, but we'll take it one day at a time.

Thanks for your support!
