I've had no time to write, really. Well, I spent a good chunk of Christmas Eve working on a homegrown cookbook of family recipes for some of the women in my family who I know like to cook. My mom has finally received good news regarding her foot: it looks like it has completely healed. This has been a long time coming (three years?). Maybe she will walk again someday soon. If so, I can't help but think, what will be the next crisis? I know it's horrible to think this, but there it is. I can't help it.

Made a batch of pumpkin bread, moved a bed up onto the main floor; we love our family so much, and I am so thankful for a husband who shares my love of my family and who supports me even when they are driving me a little crazy ;)
