Thanks! What she has will be revealed in the next chapter. It's not the flu. The rash symptom killed that, made it something else.

Oh, God. Poor Rachel, her first flu. Funny thing is how she called House...well, House. It was so cute. (My inner House is protesting he doesn't do cute).

I loved how blissfully domestic this chapter sounded. I can't believe they managed to get where they are now...

I can't wait for the next chapter...:)

Thankee! Oh, I think House does cute in his own House way. I've always loved his interactions with children on the show. If Huddy ever actually had a relationship on the show, the kid would eventually become an issue. I'm pretty torn on whether House could handle it or not. Some of that gets explored in the next chapter.

He says he doesn't do cute, but he's a cutie in the inside. I've always liked how he interacts with children, probably because he respects children more than adults...because they're not afraid of the truth. He's good with children.

I see House as the All of Nothing kind of man; it may take twenty years and six months locked in a nutshouse, but if he finally makes his mind up to have a relationship with Cuddy, he'd go for the real thing: moving in together for instance. He's a man of action. And I also think he would reason about being in Rachel's life, she's part of the equation now; whether he'd be able to handle parenthood it's a different kettle of fish. But he's attentive and caring, and in my dream-world he would make a great dad. [I say that, but I'm pretty conscious this is never gonna happen...]

Heh. Even if the road is crazy, it'll be short because there's only two more chapters. :) I promise nothing, because I don't want to disappoint you, but the ending totally makes sense (in my head).

OMG!!
OMG!!! ever since the question of what had she eaten I thought this might happen... I feel sort of bad that Cuddy didn't get her job back, specially because of the lack of re-evaluation but then again does sound like hospital bureaucracy. I'm still like OMG!!
And Loved, LOVED the "you don't expect me to sleep in a 4 foot Barbie bed" **perfect!!, then Cuddy could swallow. Great chapter! Can't wait for the next part!!
OMG, now she can have like a virus, kids always get viruses... can be the measles or an autoimmune disease like lupus... but that would be so mean!!!! Anyways can't wait for the diagnosis.

Heh. Not a virus.

Symptoms so far are fever, fatigue, and rash.

Next chapter goes back to the hospital bureaucracy. Minors is a definite problem.

Now, THAT'S what DS should have thought himself too! I always wondered what it would be like to see Cuddy's kid sick and House's reaction to it! I can't wait to see what you came up with! Great chapter!!!! :)
