Okay, if you could have super powers, what would they be? Feel free to post multiple, preferably in order of priority ( Read more... )

Hmmm. In no special order.
1. Telekinesis
2. Flight
3. The standard super-strength/Invulnerability package deal.
4. The ability to heal people with a touch.

I remember asking Ryan once. He said something like "the ability to control all matter at the molecular level at will and to control reality." I think he might have missed the point.

I think Apocalypse missed the point too.

Yes, the movie sucked. The lead was SO miscast... granddevice July 3 2009, 13:15:19 UTC
Psychokinesis
Invulnerability/eternal youthfulness
And just because... 'jumping'

Jumper. Was pretty decent, except for the aforementioned.

Hmmm....

1) I like your language power. I think I'ma steal it *yoink*

2) Which leads me to my next power, the ability to steal other people's powers, only without the whole "can't touch people without making them a vegetable" thing.

3) Shapeshifting. Nothing fancy like Luke's, just want to be able to change into alternate human forms around my same relative size (conservation of matter and all...).

4) Teleportation. Just 'cause.

5) 360° Vision. So I can see what those little turds are doing behind my back in class! ><

I'm sure there's more, but I'm too lazy to think about it any more...

1) Yanking the language power, adding written language to the effect.

2) I think telekinesis is a fairly universal WANT.

3) The power to either discover webcomics before they get long, or the ability to catch up on archives at superspeed. I keep discovering things after they've been running for five or more years, and it's getting kinda old.

Oh, yeah, completely agree with the written part of the language thing. I should probably edit my post to include that.

I definitely feel ya on the web comic thing. I just started reading a comic called Flipside, and I just realized it has 21 chapters each of 30-60 pages, not to mention over 500 pages of earlier work the artist called Book 0, being 26 chapters of art he/she doesn't like.

So yeah, totally with ya. What web comics are you reading nowadays? I keep the ones I read on:

Active and No RSS are the ones I'm caught up on, and the rest speak for themselves. Right now I'm trying to catch up on EGS Sketchbook, TFS New World, and Flipside.

I just discovered Girl Genius. (Yeah, that's a nice long archive... and yes, I know I would have had a year less to catch up on if I'd just looked at it last year after you mentioned it existed.)

I'm currently reading UserFriendly and Kevin And Kell, which are daily update.

I also read Two Lumps, which is about the antics of two cats, one of whom is rather regularly trying to get into their owner's liquor cabinet. Snooch and the Carpet Ship

Girl Genius is awesome! Well worth the read. Hits several of my favorite tropes.

I'll have to look into UserFriendly and Kevin And Kell. Catching up on daily update comics is a long and arduous process.

Two Lumps looks familiar. You've posted on that one before, haven't you? And Vodka does that to me, too. ^_^
