We had a fun Independence day. We went to Fort Worth's Botanical Gardens. They have a patriotic classical concert and fireworks. It's really nice. They have a part where they play a military medley and when service members hear their marching song, they stand up and we all cheer. I love that.

It was the freshly-spun kind also - not the prepackaged kind. We call it "cotton candy" here in the states. They certainly seemed to enjoy it!

Oh, and thank you. I think she's cute also. She is a lot like Ramona, actually!

They had fun, I think. But Liam did NOT like the fireworks. I have noise-cancelling headphones for Lanie but Liam put his hands over his ears and buried his head in Grandpa's chest, refused to even look. But up until then, they both had fun!

Aren't they though? I do really like the Concerts in the Garden. It's a lot of fun.

Thank you. It was fun. Pam takes good pictures, I think. And I suppose it doesn't hurt that the kids are pretty cute!
