So I spoke too soon. The last 3 days have been miserable. Not so much the throat (which feels like it has freezer burn or frost bite or ice cream headachy) but my teeth and my ears! I had my tonsillectomy surgery yesterday. The anticipation and hype on various blogs made me so incredibly nervous. It went so much better than expected. Check in time was 945 and I was under general knock out drugs by 1030. Procedure lasted about 30 minutes (they took out my adenoids too) and then an hour of recovery. Then home! I have a sinus infection. New doc put me on 800 different meds for that and allergies. 2 steriod nasal jobbers that taste like crap and the major side effect of those are "may cause weight gain." oh goody. just what I need ( Read more... )
