So I took on watching this new baby for friends of mine from church, and he's wonderful and darling and all good things... when he's with them. Then he starts coming to me for day care, and all he does is scream. And scream, and scream, and scream, and SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm starting to feel not worthy. If I actually ever tried that, my butt would be hauled off to jail. I just can't believe the decibal level this kid can reach, and he's only 5 months old. He was a preemie too, so he's smaller than his age should be.

He's better today, thankfully -- can't take more than 2 days a week with him. Now gotta decide what, and how much, to tell his mother. I don't want her thinking her child is anything but perfect, but on the other hand... what if something is physically wrong with him? I mean, this type of cry, well... it just ain't normal, from my experience with kids. And it's vast experience too, so I feel I have a handle on most things.

We shall see as he gets older...

I've accepted that I've earned more than my share of that particular curse...I'll still be laughing with you guys when those two have their karma attacks...heh.
