How many times have I stopped at the grocery store on my way home to my Capitol Hill apartment?  In fact, I did on New Year's Eve.  The very same grocery store as she did.  Only I walked 2 blocks west to get home; she walked 2 blocks south.

It's the "Halloween screams" part that I can't get over--thinking how her life ended in so much terror.

Yikes. That is scary. It's sad either way, but hopefully it was someones who knew her, rather than just some random psycho-killer. Random is more scary, since they haven't found the guy. Maybe you should get some mace or something.
