This was posted in my head on Monday: Spring is finally here!
Until a few weeks ago, I had forgotten that one of the main reasons that spring is exciting is because the leaves and flowers come back.
Well, I looked out the copy area window on Monday morning at the Law School building's courtyard, and over the weekend, they had put beautiful pink and red buds all over the courtyard trees!

Within the last hour, Stephanie and John-John had baby boy!
I'll add a picture when i get one. (I can't wait!) No name yet, but he's here, and they are a healthy, happy family. -

Valentine's Day in New York City is cute and cheerful. Everywhere I walked this morning and afternoon, I saw men carrying around paper-wrapped bouquets of small, brightly-colored tulips.

the facts of life
The good: I got a salaried job finally! As of yesterday, my position with the law school became official. In three months, i'll be able to go to the doctor and dentist without being terrified of the price! I can apply for grad school in the next year and get free tuition, assuming i get in! I'll be making more money too!

i just remembered that i forgot to eat breakfast!
This wouldn't be so weird if my breakfast was oatmeal or a bagel, but that's not what it was. It's THIS! So, basically, a delicious candy bar! Luckily, i didn't eat breakfast at home because i had this at work.

I'm at work, and my hands are freezing. I shouldn't complain because normally every afternoon, it suddenly turns insanely hot at my desk, and i am miserable because of that ( Read more... ) -

I'm having a small Christmas party at my apartment tonight, and i'm hoping that by telling you, i will feel obligated (and remember) to take pictures and post them online. (Actually, picasa has made my picture-posting life so easy, that i think i will be much better about keeping more up-to-date with online photo posting. Aren't you lucky?)
