I'm there with you. All I had to express my excitement was gchat with bethany and forcing my brand new coworkers (3 weeks?) to look at the pictures...they were good sports. I thought about it on the train home today...when/if there's another baby, will you and I and beth be there? how crowded will that room be? who will be watching elliot while he gets restless and bored with the hospital room?

It makes me sad, too, to be so far away, and wonder why I choose the life I do.

did you see my daddy's pictures? they're sweet...

I had just the same thoughts, only with a less spectacular command station and probably not so much the music/touring part (unless, of course, I'm rich Aunt Beth, who comes through town when Uncle Jason's band is playing Florida; except they'll probably think anything that could make them money is selling out, so that fantasy is doomed...dammit).

Anyway, I was doing the same things with the phone and online photos and helpless wishes to be closer, rather than in my own little smiley, excited, sad little desk-bubble.
