i think the time has come to close this community. not much to talk about anymore, now that it's more than 1 1/2 years out from our weddings. unless someone has a great idea of something to do with this community, i'm cool just closing up shop! let me know...

Our good friend Eric is going to take pictures of me trashing my wedding dress! I'm not quite sure where or when just yet, but he's a great photographer and he has a camera that makes me insane with jealousy.

And, I want to thank phrassie for giving me the idea!

We kicked off our anniversary weekend on Friday with a trip to the grocery store to pick up a bunch of junk food goodies that we normally don't allow ourselves. We got donuts, bacon, chocolate, beer, and other good stuff. We also got maple candy, courtesy of Eric's parents and brother. our little anniversary getaway was perfect. it was just what we needed.

we started the day off with some anniversary cake for breakfast. heh. our friend made us the exact same kind she made for our wedding. much yummier than year-old cake, i tell you what.

congratulations to all of you, hope you had a great first year. mine was a bit bumpy (which surprised me because we'd been together 4 years before getting married) but we're still going strong. :)

For those of you who have looked into wedding albums...or those who have already gotten their wedding albums, did you get to choose what color of album you wanted?  I've got a couple of different options for the album color - like white, off white, navy blue, burgundy, just to name a few....)  And then I can choose between white pages, or black ( Read more... )
